Thanks for your comments. I ho...Hi Paddy and David,
Thanks for your comments. I hope 2012 is fulfilling your wishes so far! I'm thinking of passing this piece, and your comments to the people at the National Parks Office - hoping that it might just prompt them to rethink the style of their "Visitor Risk Management." Let me know if you have any objections. I remember the 'wishing well'...Hi Justine.

I remember the 'wishing well' when i was at Santi, its sad to hear that there is a fence there now as there wasn't one when i visited.

I also had the expectation that it was going to be something wonderfully natural somewhere nestled in a glen when i first went to see it.

I remember last you you relaying to me new year resolutions and the difficulties surrounding them. Its a time of year that for some reason people reflect upon their life and where they wish to go, some distant ideal to achieve.

Well hopefully our wishes do come true!David Briggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01659806894915695595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8209106877052974214.post-60494488626314750922011-12-30T16:34:47.739-08:002011-12-30T16:34:47.739-08:00Good fortune to have a conversation with an echnid...Good fortune to have a conversation with an echnida. They are up to 40 million years old so carry a lot of information. They are monotremes like the platypus and have a pouch for one egg only. Their young are called puggles, how cute is that.

Like you I have had a similar experience with steel fences in the park. I used to ride out to echo point and meditate on a great rock there. Then one day a huge walkway had been erected with four feet high steel sides that cut access to my rock and the rest of the lookout. So I don't go there any more. I was flabbergasted at the invasiveness of it all.
The positive side of it all is that I chose to find some other places in the bigger park without fences with wonderful views and great for meditation.
I will be writing more about the forrest journey in my blog ravensong.namePaddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08241563813315918235noreply@blogger.com
